About

Dr. Kavitha Gudapati

Family Business Advisor · Organizational Psychologist · ICF Associate Certified Coach

Dr. Kavitha Gudapati helps families turn their business from a platform into a purpose. She brings a Doctorate in Management (Organizational Behavior), an MA in Psychology, and a postgraduate diploma in counseling skills. She is an ICF Associate Certified Coach, and she completed family business training at the Indian School of Business, led by John Ward.

Her approach treats individuals and families as living systems, and she starts with what is working rather than what is broken. She is certified in Appreciative Coaching by Fielding Graduate University (USA) and trained in process work through ISABS's Basic and Advanced Human Processes Labs. She works at both the intrapersonal and interpersonal levels, so change reaches the person and the family enterprise together.

With more than two decades of advising Indian business families, Kavitha has helped build family governance structures and put family constitutions into practice as an empaneled facilitator. This work draws from experience across industries.

She treats the family business as sacred space and opens every engagement with mindfulness, openness, trust, authenticity, and reverence. Her gift is naming what she sees in plain, jargon-free language and raising difficult issues at the moment a family can hear them. She works with executive and non-executive members alike, so each can contribute with energy, talent, and a sense of purpose, build fulfilling relationships, and find their deeper calling.
